Suppose if you were asked this question then what will be your answer?
I guess the first word you will say as answer is "Depends..."
Yes the same is the answer from my side also that it depends on the type of relationship and the nature of other things that is the reason for that relationship...
No no....I'm not planning to start yet another lecture on this topic because i'm sure we can very easily find tons of literature of this subject.
As this is going to be my first blog so lets talk about it only...is it going to start a new series of relationships for me? I think yes it can be and also it cannot be again it depends on many thing and the prominent one is the fact that how many readers are going to visit and read this blog and to how many people my views are going to appeal and again in which way....isn't it like that?
I have read some 6-7 blogs written by some of my friends and in some cases had also given my views( ya, you can say "gyan") as comments which i found suits to my way of thinking on that particular topic. Also had got responses for my comments from my friends. Of course it is obvious that whenever people get some positive comments for their views that would have given them a kind of elation and at the same time whenever they would have been contradicted for their view by some body through his/her comments that moment would have brought desolation for them.
The same I think happens with human relations also and mostly when the mode of communication is not as passive as a " Blogspot" like this...and in that situation the intensity of elation and desolation happens to be much more high than this because there people get responses straight on their face, sometimes in public.
Is there any way to convert this desolation into elation or at least in some other form which gives less pain than being desolated?
All "Gyanis" of this world will say yes we can convert desolation into elation by patience and rational thinking. By the way my question at this note is that what are they? From which shop we can get them? Are they affordable for middle class? But after having a glassful of water I think they are not at all wrong they are very true...one can always convert desolation into elation by patience and rational thinking but they are little difficult in the age we are living in because no one has that much of time to sit and think that why my views have been contradicted what can be the correct way of thinking or approaching towards a subject. I think in such situations "Selective Ignorance" can come into play and can relieve us from desolation which we keep on getting after being contradicted again and again by some many people at different point of time at different social set ups be it schools, colleges, work places etc etc bla bla...But in this case you are sure to loose some point which can be only learnt after being contradicted and we should be able to choose such situations cautiously, yes for our sake. For rest of the thing we can go for Ignorance formula to keep us elated or at least tension free....I think in most of the cases the situation for contradiction arrives only at the situation like when it is for personal opinion on any particular subject, colour of tie, eye or dye, way of walking, choice of car, even some times for choice of shampoos. Every human being has got certain set of attributes and they can not be exactly similar to any other human beings so there is always some probability of contradictions among us. And this is better thing to have diversity in attributes and contradictions on such things other wise we would have only Socrates or Lenins on this earth and not both of them. I think both of them have contributed alot to us and the same can be always expected from any simple cycle ridding human being also as I think he is also capable of that provided how well he gets exposure and opportunity to experiment the utility and correctness of his views. Also it depends on his confidence for his own views it should be unshakeable at least by mild tremors which come to him as contradictions.
I think if some body masters the way of ignorance for such things which cause unneccessary desolation them he can overcome the problems which are cause just because of clash of egos who are in many times cause of trouble in relationships. I think that can be considered as a small part of "Moksha" in which one can develop immunity of certain things which can cause unneccessary tension. But this should not at all be practiced as the way of life because some times it can create more problematic situations than facing and accepting some neccessary and fruitful contradictions.
So to conclude with the famous lines( i don't know how appropriate to quote it here will be) that says to keep us doing our karma( job) without expecting for any results because expectations of results will start with their measurement and will again cause contradictions and ultimately desolation to us in our relationships.
But now the world is very much result oriented and people are also very intelligent and intelligence causes simplicity and contradictions both so it is on us to choose among both of them.
